Services Provided

khaki-ocean operates as a booking facilitator for scenic railway journeys across Canada. We coordinate with railway operators, accommodation providers, and other service partners to arrange your travel experiences. We act as an intermediary and are not the direct provider of transportation or accommodation services.

Booking Process

When you submit a reservation request through our website:

• Your request is not a confirmed booking until you receive written confirmation from our team
• Pricing is subject to availability at the time of confirmation
• We will verify availability and contact you within 24 business hours
• Full payment is required before travel dates are finalized

Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes. Pricing includes:

• Railway transportation as specified in the journey description
• Meals provided during rail travel
• Accommodations for multi-day journeys

Pricing does not include transportation to/from departure points, optional excursions, personal expenses, or travel insurance.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are subject to the following terms:

• More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
• 15-30 days before departure: 50% refund
• Less than 15 days before departure: No refund
• Cancellations due to weather or railway operator issues: Full refund or rebooking at no additional cost

Changes and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify journey schedules, routes, or accommodations due to circumstances beyond our control including weather, railway maintenance, or operational requirements. In such cases, we will offer comparable alternatives or full refunds.

Traveler Responsibilities

Travelers are responsible for:

• Arriving at departure points at scheduled times
• Providing accurate contact and booking information
• Disclosing any accessibility needs or special requirements
• Following railway operator rules and safety guidelines
• Obtaining appropriate travel insurance

Limitation of Liability

khaki-ocean acts as a booking facilitator and is not liable for:

• Actions or omissions of railway operators, accommodation providers, or other third parties
• Delays, cancellations, or schedule changes due to weather, mechanical issues, or circumstances beyond our control
• Personal injury, property damage, or losses during travel
• Dissatisfaction with subjective aspects of the experience such as views, weather, or scenery

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking in question.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website including text, images, logos, and design elements is the property of khaki-ocean or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without written authorization.

Website Use

You agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the website
• Submit false or misleading information
